Nomoypet Natural Coconut Substrate has many uses and is ideal for use in setups requiring high moisture retention. When moist, the coconut coir sticks to each and becomes a dense substrate. However, it dries readily near the surface and reverts back to it original state, providing an airy top layer while retaining a good amount of moisture at the mid and lower levels. This characteristic along with the fiber strains, help the substrate hold well when tunneled. making it ideal for animals that borrow.
